All pets should be brushed or inspected on a frequent basis. This allows you to check for any changes to their skin and coat health including the presence of parasites or skin masses. A bath is a great chance to do a thorough inspection while the hair is wet and lying down you can see things that have been overlooked. Any changes need to be mentioned to your Vet as soon as possible.
Full shampoo baths are recommended no more than once weekly.
