Payment Options

Townsville Vet Clinic is unable to offer accounts and requires full payment at the time of consult, discharge of the patient from hospital or collection of medications/ products.

We do accept Visa/Mastercard, EFTPOS and cash.  A surcharge of 1.07% on credit card and $0.26 on debit card currently applies to transaction payments and this is forwarded to our financial institution. No surcharge is applied to cash or direct deposit payments.

For the unexpected or emergency vet visits, we offer Vetpay or Zippay to help clients with repayment options.  Please note that these credit arrangements need to be discussed and agreed to prior to the veterinary services being performed.  In particular, with Vetpay we will require confirmation of Vetpay approval/ PIN and payment of a 20% deposit – we also have a minimum total cost of $500 for a Vetpay claim.
